Thanks fellas. Ranger is at the vet right now, they put him under anesthesia this morning to doctor him up a little better. I’ll spare the details for the forum, but when we got him off the second pig he was almost castrated. Enough that it made me cringe just thinking about it. Everything else was just skin and a little muscle and he should make a fine recovery. He’ll probably be healing up 4-5 weeks.

And I’ve caught a handful of these listed hogs, but not a bunch. We normally catch your standard black hogs. I’ve caught a few blonde ones that were cool looking as well. The only listed ones I’ve caught have been boars, blonde I have caught small boars or sows, and I’ve caught a couple of red ones as well. It’s been a while since I’ve caught a good boar, I wish we could’ve laid eyes on the second one. It was about 3 seconds of thrashing and he was off to the races. I couldn’t blame Ranger for coming on out to us after the last time it broke, lol. I’m surprised that he bayed him as long as he did in that condition. He was still trying to hunt on the way out. He was winding on the lead and wanted me to turn him loose
