I see. Well I hope they do work for you. The Ben dogs I’ve been around in the past weren’t real rangy and they were for sure salty. I guess that’s what they were bred to be though. Randy told me out of his own mouth that Ben was basically just a catch dog. Stands to reason that anything that went back to him heavy would be rougher. Randy had another male at that time that he called Rodeo. In my opinion, as far as looks went, Rodeo was the dog. Man he had running gear under him and a real pretty black mask. His head shape was nice too, a longer rectangular shape with a good muzzle. I always regretted not trying something out of him. He was physically more my type.
