I've never been able to tell Ivermectin was effective against ticks on dogs, cattle or horses other than very short term, the pour on helps against flies on cattle for a short time, and to my knowledge the dosage doesn't extend the time it stays in ones system. They did however come out with an Ivermectin product that I think they called Long Range that extended the time in the system to 90 days. But don't know of anyone using it on anything but cattle. Glad you have had success with it, but it hasn't been very effective in my country.
