That’s not true slim who ever told you that doesn’t know the game dog history. There are few famous blues dogs from the 1920s they were common where they came from in Scotland blue Paul. The blue color is a double recessive gene so you have to breed for it just like glass eyes in catahula dogs or white Shepards. Now the blue dogs you see today are of a different type of breeding and are mostly bred for looks not performance I have had a handful of them ain’t had good luck doesn’t mean some else won’t. But it is a original color of pitbull dogs earl tudor handled two of them in high profile matches if they would have won that color and gene pool would be a different wood pile then it is today
