I agree, that's why the mayors email address is listed. It only takes a few minutes to compose a "polite" email stating why the ordinance is wrong. If enough people are heard, it may have an impact. On the flip side, if enough of these towns get away with passing these ordinances, you can bet it will happen in your town eventually.
