ya i think like wormy dog, i have my dogs as part of the family and not just tools. seems to me that when you are bonded to your dogs they hunt harder and they do it for you and not for them selves. if you spend time with them then they will know you and learn what u say and what you want them to do.  i hog hunt like some folks go boating, its a recreational thing, you get out there and have funn with friends and get to see your dogs work.
