im sure this one will be deleted, and i will probabyl get kicked off, over just stating my opinion. everyone else that has a little authority on here can say what they fill so why can't I or nybody else for that matter?
It's really pretty simple to get along on this website, and out of 1200 members there are less than 10 that have ever been banned...So odds are you have to really screw up to get kicked off
I have a few friends that have got dogs off of here that were supposed to be finished dogs, got a trial and all that, but when the dog didn't work out u can't get a hold of the guy, but when u try to say something on here to make others aware of what happened, it gets deleted.
Follow these simple rules on ETHD dog trade, and you will not get taken on a dog trade.
1. Ads on this board are strictly between buyer and seller, ETHD assumes no responsiblity.
2. If you have a legitimate question on the dog, then ask it, any other comments need to be taken up in private. Negative comments and/or bashing the individual or the dog will not be tolerated and will result in being banned from this forum. Any disputes between buyer's and seller's will be held off the boards and in private.
3. BUYER BEWARE... research the seller as much as possible. If the majority of their posts are in The Dog Trade, that should tell you something.
4. Sound advise: If you are going to spend a bunch of money on a dog ... GO SEE THE DOG HUNT/CATCH BEFORE YOU BUY. Any respectable person selling a proven dog will not have a problem with this, if they do turn and run the other way. Also get a trial period on the dog, but remember this... it takes a lot of dogs time to get used to their new owner and new packs. A short trial period is not always sufficient.
Same as the man that had found his collars in the ditch and dogs were gone. IF u hunted around there would u want to know who the guy is that is taking the dogs, i damn sure know that i would want to know. I bet if it was yall dogs that got taken you would want to know about everybody that has a reputation of taking dogs and such.
At this point I don't think anyone knows who took the dogs. Now with that said should people start naming all the bad guys in hog dogging? I know some sure enough bad people, one of them posts on here occasionally to sell a dog, it is my OPINION that he is a bad person...but would it be fair to him to call him out for it publicly?
