The original post was about an ordinance adopted/ voted on by West Columbia city council enacting a breed ban. In the meantime people, including members of ETHD, contacted the city council and mayor expressing their concerns regarding breed specific legislation/ breed bans. The post I put up yesterday is the result of that effort. West Columbia will not be implementing the ordinance that was originally voted on.
I am trying to tell y'all that the effort by dog owners contacting the city council was effective. Maybe it was not real clear in the post that I put up yesterday???
