Javi's are bad news for a dog. The thing that surprises me is that more Javi's didn't join the fight. Javi's have two things going for them hogs do not. First a javi can jump a 360* and I have seen on video Javi's that jumped and bit an arrow in half when shot with a bow. They are not like a hog that can only move his head a little. If your dog grabs one on the flank he is going to get a face full of Javi. The second thing is Javi's will usualy come from long distances to help out another Javi. They gang up on your dog and are every bit if not more agile than your dog, with bigger teeth that they bite with. The realy bad thing is they are ilegal to catch with a dog same as a deer. They are a game animal and do have seasons and limits. Where I hunt the season is Oct-1 to Feb-28
