Seems like a great concept, but I see water and dirt building up in that thing. Probably be a constant pain in the butt trying to keep it clean, not to mention having to dig your yard up to dump it out.
I don't think this is gonna work that well...
Wind driven rain is gonna blow this idea to pieces...besides that, if anybody has dogs like mine, they'll be diggin a hole out in front of that thing and guess where all the dirt will be kicked???
Let me know how it works, I would love to try one. Shade around my yard is hard to come by. 1/4" sheets of Plywood shades 4 out of 7 of my dog houses.
