i like hoot gibson collars, the only neg. thing is the weight. you can bet your azz that it will protect the neck though.

also, i don't think there is really a way to figure out if a dog will turn out.  ive had a few that didn't do anything till they were nearly a year old. i have found out this....most of the ones that are a pain in the butt when their young, have turned out for me.
