I raised a few in my teenage years, the gyp I had would do anything,point/retrieve quail, retreive dove, tree coon/squirrell,find and bay hogs and do competition agillity/obedience and do protection work...one of the better most vesatile dogs I ever had.I would think a hunting bred one would make a good med range find/bay dog.Very smart and active dogs.
