I'm no expert by no means, what works for me works for me, I have pesonaly raised my own catch dogs, and their handle is better than some kids that i know, I have a full blooded gator breed gyp bull  that makes hunting a pleasure, I dont even lead the gyp when im on foot, going to the bay, she waits for me to say the word, whinning, what whinning....LOL  no B.S. if were hunting the gyp rides in the basket on my 4 wheeler, if i want to listen all i say is''Listen'' and that gyp will hold her breath to see if she can also hear the dogs baying no whinning, no barking and no pulling, Granite i raised this gyp, when she got down as bad as i hated to ,, i had to buy another c.d. male, red and a catching machine, but ill as they come as far as handle, he was 2 or 3 then, pull on you whine, bark with dog aggresion! now a year and a half later just like i like them, must have been the wispers in his ear LMAO, some times i think it might b the dog some times the handler, if a man can make a 1500lb horse give to him and do what is asked , than why cant that man do it with a 50lb dog?  ............Man this is alot of typing, off the soap box now........Jmo thats all
