 a dog aint finished till its dead, they learn till they die.


Really it means that the owner thinks the dog has reached its max potential. But a finished dog to me might not be a finished dog to you.

I would consider any 6+ year old dog dog "finished" because he knows the deal, and has a routine.

A finished dog may not be a jam up dog.
