1st scatter bred dog I've raised in 20 yrs. 3/4 catahoula 1/4 English pointer. Ernie, the ole boy that bred it has had great hog dogs for the 20 yrs I've known him off this cross so going to give it a try with my line bred bmc pup. Hopefully this time next year both make dogs.

I bet that pup makes it. I really like his old red cat male. This dog I’m catching with is half cat and the cat blood in her is very similar to him. If I remember correctly he’s and Aden’s bred dog which is what my dogs momma was. She was a one out dog. When she found it she caught it. She was a big red merle gyp.

Yes the mom/catahoula is Aden, the dad is his red dog thats half cat, half EP. His pointers hunt hard, that red dog of his is a beast in the woods, covers some serious dirt, Ive struck allot of pigs with him. Ill post a pic of him

He’s a nice looking dog. I like the old Adens blood. They were pretty consistent in type. Most of them had a lot of leg, bigger bone, and were usually some variation of red with lots of grit. If I remember correctly, Mr. Aden used them on cattle and hogs.
