Went hunting on one of my cousins places last night, a hay grazer field on the cibolo creek.  I brought 1 dog, Sunny (red BMC), and my cousin brought 2 experienced dogs and 1 dog thats never been in woods and only seen 1 hog.  He brought Twister (catahoula), Rex (red dog), and Rebel (YBMC only seen one hog).  We dropped at about 745 and started walking along hay grazer field towards the creek.  We made it about 100 yds and Sunny went into hay, few seconds later we saw her come out of field and head towards creek.  About 30 seconds later she bayed up and it wasnt long before help got there.  Before we got half way to them they had him caught.  The 3 of them had him caught before the young dog (Rebel) got there but he got right to helpin when he got there.  We were draggin it back to truck by 8.

Ya I was real happy with the outcome.  Caught him with basically 3 gritty a$$ dogs and no catch dogs.  No dogs cut bad just a few knicks.  He didn't run at all really just wanted to stand and fight.

Donte, ya they work out real good.  U do get more cut dogs that way but that's the price you pay I guess.  My sunny dog isn't real rough she'll usually bay until help gets there, once one dog catches she catches too.

The red BMC I'm holding in that one pic that's cut in chest is a full cur dog female about 2 years old.  She's turnin into a dog, she found that boar by herself and kept him bayed until the other dogs got there.  She's a gritty dog but not overly gritty but will catch hard with other dogs.  By far my favorite dog in my pack and will be a sad day the day I lose her.  Hopefully that's way down the road.
