Well a friend(outlaw) and a gentleman that he used to hunt with and outlaws son came down this morning to make a quick hunt, well it wasn't starting out good the guy that leases the place changed the combination lock and said i had to talk to the owner, that he wasn't giving me the code. Well about 2 hrs later i finally got ahold of the owner so off we went. I turned my 2 dogs loose and they took off somewhere lord only knows that they were doing. Once we came out of the first creek i told outlaw to turn a few dogs loose, that there are always hogs layed up in the woods on the side of the creek. So he turned a sure enough strike dog loose. It hadn't been 3 minutes since we turned ole red loose, and u couldn't hear in  front of us singing the sweet tune.(man u gotta love it) Then cash and ole whineo was hooking it to the bay, we drove the wheeler a little closier, and reached back and turned them 2 BLUE cd loose, and it was game over. We arrived and whineo was on one ear and coco was on the other and popeye had a leg. For being whineo first time to ever be in the woods i was pretty impressed with him. As far as ole red i believe he is 2.5 yo, but i wuldn't just about put him up against any dog when it comes to striking and keeping a bay. We have a litter of pups out of red and daisy my german short hair pointer that we will be selling a few pups out of in a few months.
