well deer season has finally ended , so me and bob had a nice hunt today. we rode about 30 min. when a couple of our young dogs opened up just up ahead of us in a thicket, we heard the hogs rallying, catch dogs went in and caught a 135# sow. Sally had been out on a loop behind us, when she heard the racket she came and joined in, i pulled her out and sent her on the track of the other hogs, bob sent his camo dog on too, they left out back to the south. we gathered up and headed that way, i lost contact at .87 of a mile. after riding south for a couple hundred yards i picked them back up at .91 of a mile bayed, we made our way to within 200 yrds and the catch dogs heard them and started that way, we had to tie up at a fence and walk the last 200 yrds. made it down to them and had another 135# sow. had a great day and some good work for the young dogs. here are a few pic of the hunt.

Craig, whenever the next person tells me they can't get their CD to be quiet on the wheeler, I am going to show them that picture. I wish my old lazy wheeler riding bulldogs would do that...

Richard that dog will follow me off the end of the world and has. but i have used her loose for so long if i put her on a wheeler, she will bark an have a fit to go to the bay. im shure i could work with her and fix that but i dont hunt from wheeler very much anymore.
