I have read alot about the Zimecterin gold on these forums and have not located any info about using it on pups. I have 4 pups that are between 3 and 6 months old and was wondering if it was safe to use on them. If so what kind of dose do they need and how often?

Everything I've ever read says wait until they're 6 months. Our vet here says the same, though if they're larger pups (say over 30 lbs) you'd think it would be okay, though it may tear up their stomach a little. As for dosing, it's really a very educated guess. We give everything over 40 lbs about a dime sized amount-one click-rub it on the roof of their mouth or put it on something you know they'll eat all of.
Another thing that works amazing when you're hunting hard is a paste called Nutracal. You can get it at Atwoods and the feed store, give em about a tablespoon full a week-puts pounds on em like crazy-even when they're running hard!
