is amoxicillian ok to give my dog. i got alot of it left and just was wondering if it would be ok. and what mg would be ok the pills are 500 mg

Not sure about amoxicillian but our vet prescribed ceflexan 500mg, one pill twice daily for our dog after surgery. I think that they are close to the same thing.

trey, i have a gyp that got cut bad & my vet has her on 500mg amoxicillin twice a day. bolo

Yeah, never throw antibiotics away. My brother is a doctor and he told me that the expiration dates come from the pharmaceutical companies. He said they don't expire in pill form.

Hey Trey, Amoxicillian and cefelxin are the same thing. I have used it plenty on our dogs. I give them 1 pile for 3 days for good measures if they got cut. kinda like penicillian treatment. Tonya
