I got an e-mail from a hoghunter I know that made me think why the hell would you do that. It was titled something like "Bad Hog". The first picture shows the trophy shot of the hog. It was a good looking rank boar. He gave the story how it took this many shots to finally bring him down. In the next picture I could not believe what I saw. In the same picture as the hog was a dog that was killed, I guess by this boar. The last picture was of just the dog shreaded to sh!t!!!! It looked as if this dog was not wearing any type of cut gear. No need to get into details. But why would someone take pictures of a dog that been injured that bad. Why would some take pictures and then send them in an e-mail? E-mails usually get forwarded and before you know it the wrong people are looking at them.

And dont care !! i would not want to share that with anybody. Pictures that is. I would tell how great that dog was and how upset i would be. Ill be the first to tell you that if i got a good dog killed i would cry like a big titty baby :'( . I got my first dog killed by a hog last year and i did just that.

So much for helping our sport, doesn't get much more ignorant than that.

It's really none of my business, but I've often wondered even on this board why sometimes when people share the story of a hunt and post pictures, they have to always include the report of the wounded. "5 dogs all cut up, but they'll be okay". It's nothing to be ashamed of, and we all know dogs can (and will) get injured while hunting, but to me personally just the fact that dogs were hurt or killed doesn't make the story any more or less exciting.

That type of info or any like that is not good at all for this sport. Like was said before we all know and are aware of what happens some times when you catch a big nasty hog.It does not need to be advertised

it'd probably have to do with having a lot of empty space between the ears. I have to agree with Bryant on this one. I will point out if the dogs came away unscathed on big bad boar cause that's usually an accomplishment in my book. Taking photos and talking about it in every post does nothing good for the sport. Period.

Same thing happened to me but it was me that posted it on here. The dog had a vest on and it went through the vest. I was uploading it off the photobucket and did not mean to put it on there. No one recognized it, thank goodness, but after that I am very careful what picture I pick. You have to be careful. I have not lost a dog in over 6 years, I TAKE CARE OF MY DOGS! Good post!
