It snowed all Thursday and didnt really start to stick until that night so Chuck and I planned a quick hunt for Friday morning with his son(Cameron)and sons friend(Quinn, who has never been before).  We got out and began working the pine thickets and without much sign, but it finally Chucks dogs opened up just down the pipeline from us.  We sent the catchdogs and followed them into a wad of at least 15 hogs.(Three good sows and the rest pigs)  Well we caught the biggest sow and barely did at that.  She was running with Chucks big Dogo x AB and trying to shuck him off on three different trees before the pit was able to catch her by the  ham.  We got her stuck and sent the boys to another caught pig.  We got to the caught pig and my bird dog had handled, but the boys and the other dogs were nowhere to be seen and we heard the baydogs open up about 100 yards from us. Chuck went to that while Mike and I finished off the pig.  Chuck sent his bulldog to the bay, which turned out the boys were at and watching.  Cameron hollared because he thought the bulldog was another hog, but soon as the bulldog caught the boys rushed in legged it and got it stuck.  Then we spent the rest of the afternoon baying and chasing the third sow with them until we caught the dogs and called it a day because of Mardi Gras parties.  All in all it was a great time in the woods with the boys and we all enjoyed the changed landscape thouroughly.

Well I was expecting Hell to Freeze Over since the Saints one the Super Bowl and it finally did!lol

Chainrated,

I appreciate the comment on the bird dog.  She is one of the smartest dogs that I have fooled with ever.  It is just hard to get their mind set on hogs is the only problem that I am having with her right now.
