hunting is fun

in the past year i've hunted with a lot of diffent people it all was seems like everone all ways wonts to say there dog did this or that to me its all about killing pigs not whos dogs did what how do u feel just my 2cees

Fun is #1 even if you dont kill any hogs  . But nothing wrong with being proud of your 4 legged hunting buddies.

no im not saying not to say ur dogs r good if they r what im saying is i dont like some one that says its all my dogs

Oh I see so you go hunting with people and the dogs they have kill all of the pigs while yours are just sniffin butts?
I can see how that would ruin the fun of any hunt if they would try to take all credit for the dog work after you raise and train your dogs.

I used to take this ol fart hunting and every time a dog would bark he would say there is ol red he got one were are your dogs at and one night we were hunting and my buddy was riding in the back on the dog box and slipped ol red in there and the dogs starting to bay and he started to say theres ol red i told him to shut his ol ass up that ol red was in the box

Yea i hate it exspecially when they packed your race and u go to the bay and they tell every body there dog done great and mine just followed theres.

That's why I hunt with the people I hunt with... we enjoy it and have a good time. No competition on who's dog does what, or if they screw up, oh well that's all part of it.

The main thing is that everyone we go hunting with has a good time and gets a chance to work thier dogs. Our dogs have their good days and their bad days, and if you brag on them, they won't even try to find a hog. With that being said, I think that everyone is in awe of their dogs. I am amaized every time our dogs bay and catch a hog. I enjoy watching other peoples dogs work also, but you can't help being a little predjudice about you own.
