I haven't been around in a while. Seems like I just get excited about hawg hunting in the spring even though I do it year round. I've been catching ALOT of hawgs lately. My 4 1/2 yr old cur dog is like a machine. We cut 4 boars saturday and bayed alot of sows and pigs. I'm gunna try to get some good videos uploaded on YouTube. How many people are on here now from the South East Texas area? Just to put it out there, I'm kinda looking for a new dog. Nothing wrong with the one I've got but I'd like to get one trained with mine before he gets too old or hurt. I'm looking for a yellow black mouth cur. One around 55-70 pounds full grown(but I am looking for a puppy). I'm not in any hurry and I'm very picky.

Here's a video from my lease in Spurger this past weekend. My dog is the one with the white on him.

And here's him this evening watching his favorite movie.

Good video. I wonder if we all could start training our dogs that way? Sure would be nice wouldn't even have to take them to the woods.

Neches,

Are you still running any of the little dogs? Seems like you had some JRT's a few years ago.

sdillard,

Heck, we're neighbors. I live in Silsbee.

Circle C,

I still have my "river rat terrorist". I caught a few hawgs with him just recently. He's the kinda dog you bring to the woods to just have some fun. You'll be coon huntin, squirrel huntin', hawg huntin...
