Went to the farm yestarday evening to see if we could catch a hog. We dropped the dogs and waited a few minutes and James heard them open up, a minute later we could hear a choat squeeling and the garmin showed them bayed up. In a moment they took off again. The garmin showed them bayed again, then in a moment they took off again. We were pretty sure that they were going from choat to choat so we decided to head them off and pick them up to see if we could put them on something bigger.
After we made our way to them, sure enough they had another choat caught. So we loaded the dogs and the choat up and headed to a different location. We dropped the dogs for a second time and in a few minutes we heard what sounded like another choat,

then they took off like they were on fire. After they started getting about 900 yds out we started easing their way so that they didn't get too far away from us. We stopped for a while and the next time that James looked at the Garmin they were over a mile away

in a part of the woods that is very hard to navigate. By this time it was starting to get dark. We figured that they got on a runner and we had better go and pick them up. It took us over an hour to get to them. When we finally did, they had stopped the runner and we turned to cd loose and caught a nice boar around 180 to 200lbs. The dogs and the hog were all wore out by the time that we got to them. The ol hog was staggering around with Red hanging off one ear and Foot and Sweet pea were still baying. As soon as the cd caught, the bay dogs seem relieved. LOL I am very proud of our pack, they have come a long way in one year.

James with Red, Foot, Sweetpea, and Voodoo all wore out
