We got a call on some city hogs tearing up a neighborhood. When we arrived we saw one place where the hogs had tore up a small pond in one guys' front yard. The landowner we got the call from let us know he was seeing several distinct groups, with some large ones mixed in. We saw some of their handywork in different areas with definite sign. So Mike, Matt, Chris and Mandi(and I) turned out the dogs about an hour before dark. We walked both sides of a bayou with woods bordering us. On the far side Chris and Mandi's Lupe dog started working something in the woods pretty hard. Matt's Smiley dog rolled in after her and they stayed gone a while. Lupe kept working, and it seemed she was baying something that wouldn't stay still. Soon we heard some squealing like she went ahead and caught(as she often does). We started running to it, and it seemed as if it kept getting farther away. Ended up back across the bayou with the dogs caught on this small sow about 80lbs. Seems like they might have been working a group and ended up with this one. I was just glad to get a hog on my day off. Thanks guys and gal, a fun time as always Grin
