I had Bill Middlebrook in Haskell make me another knife. I had one I got from him a year ago and loved it so much I needed another but I got him to make it a little different. He makes his own steel... and it's awesome stuff. It's super hard high carbon stuff. He makes several different kinds but I like the damascus the most. if you're wanting an awesom knife, he's the man. He only charges what it costs him to make them and he had it to me in less than 2 weeks from ordering it. He has alot of knives already made also.

Here's the new one. He put a mammoth ivory handle on it. I got him to make the handle alot smaller for my little hands and a long straight blade so I can filet a fish or stick in in a hawg. I didn't want it too pointed or too round. He got it just the way I wanted.

Here's the one I had next to the new one. It has a giraffe bone handle.

His name is Bill Middlebrook. He lives in Haskell Texas. His phone number is 940-864-2911. He'll make anything as long as you draw it to scale.

I think I paid around $275 for that one a year ago and the new one cost me $350 cause of the longer blade and mammoth ivory. He only charges what it costs to make them... but he puts as much into them as he can.

Very nice NechesBobcat!

Hog hunters especially but outdoorsmen in general can never have enough knives or flashlights!
