I just got back from a feral hog seminar where I spoke to over 200 farmers and ranchers.  Many who need hogs removed from their property.
I (Wild Boar USA) am starting a data base of people who can perform a service of hog removal for landowners.  Here is what I need:

NAME:

PHONE NUMBER:

E-MAIL ADDRESS:

STYLES OF HUNTING YOU OFFER:

TEXAS COUNTIES YOU SERVE:

I will have these listed in a data base by county and then by hunting style (hog-dogs, trapping, firearms, snaring)....When land owners call me looking for people to remove hogs I will search by county and give them the numbers and e-mails listed.  I WILL NOT GIVE YOU RANCHERS NAMES OR PHONE NUMBERS.....and this IS NOT a personal recommendation or endorsement by Wild Boar USA to you.  This is a service for landowners and a chance for you to get access to more property to hunt.  Be prepared.....you will probaly be asked for references and probaly of places that you have hunted before....This is not for someone just beginning.....These are people with serious hog problems who need serious hunters who can get the job done.

PLEASE e-mail me with this info...no PM's please.

wildboar@brutalboarcreations.com

This is a free service.\

Thanks!

Dang, how many Texas counties have hogs?

Thank you for putting this together. Hopefully we can provide a service that the ranchers will thank you for too.

i want to know the PRO's

is that like a special hard core hog dogger and what are the requirements?

must you own a finished dog or is it 10 to be cionsidered a pro?

can it be purchased or do you have to raise it and finish it out yourself to be a pro?

do you have to 30-50 dogs in your yard to be considered a pro?

do you have to have a kennel website to be a pro?

do you have to design and you you own cut gear to be a pro?

do you have to sell 30-50 dogs and pups a year to be a pro?

do you have to catch 300 hogs a yaer to be a pro?

do have to have a business card with name/hog hunter on it to be a pro?

do you have to hunt 5-6 days weekor is 4 times a month ok to be a pro?

can i own any ol dog and be a pro?

if i'm not up for the man of the year award am i not a pro?

and last if I'm soverign unto myself and choose not to be associated with any club or group of people am i not a pro?

and who desides who are the pros and what panel of judges cause i'd love to give and ................................AMERICAN IDOL ANALOGY...................

AND  what about all the doggers that don't care about the internet, have had there own bloodline for 30 years, and don't have a single hog head in ther house, but catch more hogs on sunday while your in church than you do in a month and never brag to anyone or tell anbody they even hunt, but got more real estate to hunt than Donald Trump are they the real PROS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          realdogs

..................................boy with all thew PROS a small timer like me will never get placese to hunt................................... Grin Grin

If you've got the references and landowner's to back you up... then send in your info.

If not... what's your point?

Nobody is calling anyone one a pro... he's looking for people who handle themselves in a professional manner to help landowners in need.

Realdogs,

Some locked up tension you got going there.... :Smiley

anyway.....

The list is for anyone who handles themselves in a professional manner and can successfully remove hogs in a timely manner.......not for someone looking for a recreational place to hunt occasionally.....this list is to provide farmers and ranchers who are having problems and need a "professional" solution.....hunters are free to charge for their services if they see fit.....offering a needed service for a fee is what the "professional" also represents......not some ego trip.....

I don't care about how many dogs someone has, who they know, what they know, what they've accomplished, or what they think they've done in the past or how long they've been doing it......."To each his own" in my book....everyone is free to do what they think is best for their sutuation, style, or needs......If someone is a hunter then they are just that......I don't try to administer some sort of litmus test to rank someon in some ranking system....everyone is equal in my books and on a level playing field......If anyone wants their name on the list then it will be added.....if you don't want it then fine too....

I dont know who you are Realdogs, but from what I read you have some great info and experience to share.....not sure where these few rants came from this weekend, but I aint got no beef with someone I don't know....unless I'm missing something here?Huh??  Those who know me, know that I give respect to all......but like I said I've never meet you as far as I know and I know you don't know a thing about me personally.......maybe you got beef with someone I run with....who cares.....

If someone can take his/her dogs in the woods and catch hogs on a regular basis then they are doing what we all love to do......Doesn't matter to me what breed they use, how many dogs, who they run with, what style they hunt, or what anyone else sees them as.....That's "politics" in my book and when it comes down to it there ain't no politics when its just you in the woods with your dogs.......Messageboards, phone calls, and "hype" add all the politcs to hog hunting after the fact.....When you're in the woods with your dogs that is REAL and that is what we all like to do.......That's hog hunting.....everything esle is just politics, hype, drama, opinions, or ego..........

all things I could care less about......

Hunt how you want to hunt and so will I.....it's what we all do when it comes down to it........

PROS =  You need to know what you are doing. Be a respectable person and have respectable hunting practices.

This is a great tool for farmers and landowners who want to protect their property. Great Job Cody

Cody I think it's a great idea...there are a lot of ranchers & farmers out there that just do not know who to call locally ...and we ALL know what these hogs do to their farms & ranches. Thanks !!
