Me, Aaron, Tait, and Daniel Took the dogs out this morning. Tank, Okie, Tarzan, and Bandit (his second hunt back after his surgery) were working hard and getting out. It was still dark out and not too long after letting out, the dogs caught a little piglet. We kept on making tracks and headed to the gravel pits again (where we caught the last big boar that sent Bandit to the vet) and sure enough, the exact same spot, the dogs take off to the left again hot on a track. Soon after, they all open up about 200 yards away, about 4 or 5 gravell pits over (not too much fun running up and down those things). I get up to the bay and the dogs are baying hard. The hog decides he doesnt like the pressure in the open and decides to head for some close brush and not a little bit later the guys, Aaron and Tait, cut their catch dogs loose (Jag and Scout). They hit hard and handle this big boy with no problem. I got video, but because it was so early in the morning, you cant see anytihing. (maybe next time) This hog was guessed about 240 lbs, his cutters were rottin out and his top ones were as dull as could be. Would have been a good bay pin hog. It was a great hog for Bandits first big hog back after his surgery. Needless to say, he has definately back up and learned from his mistake. The dogs all did great.

Daniel and Bandit (hidden peeping over) just after we caught the hog

Ya, Tait has a couple of dogs now. He has a bay dog that we are trying to get turned on named Tarzan. He is doing good and goes to bays, we saw him bark at one. He just needs alot more hunts under his belt to get more confidence. He has a small catchdog, that is a boxer. She is not very big, but man she hammers like crazy. She doesnt hesitate at all and latches on hard. She is a good help for Jag. Ill post some pictures next time.
Bandit is doing great. Hunting wise, he hasnt slowed down at all. He is out looking and hunting like crazy. He has backed up alot when baying which is great. you can tell from the before video of him on the hay barrel that he bayed real tight, but now he is much looser. So it turned out really well for him.
It was a great hunt. and all the dogs did well and worked well together. I cant wait to see them all work together in the future.

It is in the very beginning. He is the black and white dog that is right in the hogs face right before the catch dog, Jag, gets there.
