Turned out this morning around 6 at my buddies farm on the White Oak creek. We rode the bottoms and bayed up a good little boar. My saddle back gyp was chasing another hog towards the creek while my kemmer cur and my new yellar cur had the boar bayed in a fallen oak tree. We watch the bay for a little bit, and then send in the bulldog who just came off of injured reserve. He jumps off of the tree to far over the hog and misses. He breaks and goes about 600 yards and they finally catch him across the creek. The creek has a really good current running in it, and pushes my skinny butt about 40 yards down stream from the dogs before i finally get to the other side.  Cheesy I leg the hog, but he drowns before i can pull myself and him onto the bank. Tried to take a few videos of the first bay and the catch/ me diving in the creek but the stupid camera didnt want to work right.  Angry

Heres the only video that saved and a few pics.

I didnt know either. It looked like his other teeth had been broken off, and that one just kinda stuck out there,. i kinda guessed it was from a old fight with another boar, but there is no telling. I think fighting the dogs pushed that last tooth sideways.  Huh?

yeah he was out there, but he wasnt in on the catch. We sent him in after the first bulldog, and it broke before he could get in there.
i think he had just as much trouble crossing the creek as i did.  Grin
My buddy said he wished that he could have gotten me jumping in on video. I knew the current was gonna push me, so i just ran and cannonballed as far out as i could. That creek is real deep so i wasnt too worried about landing on a stick.  Cheesy
