I don't mean to sound dumb, but isn't a Florida cur more or less a bulldog/hound/cur mixture Huh? I hear a lot about them but am ignorant of there breeding. Nice looking dog by the way

Depends on who you ask.. Lately everyone is sayin they have Fl curs.  To me a real one is cow bred off a ranch, or goes back to a workin cattle ranch.  They come in all shapes, sizes and colors but most of the ones i see on the ranches are basically YBMCs with bob, 3/4 bob tails.  Thats the majority around here, every now and again someone will get one with a full tail.  Oh and they are HARD to get your hands on.  bred for work not sale so if someone has a litter they planned and needed it  Embarrassed.  Mostly yellow, black and tan, or red.  the spotted up ones we call leopards but it varies depending on where you are in Fl.
