We sure liked dealing with Kenny Richardson at the Navasota and Industry sale barns. Hated to hear it when he passed a few years ago.
He was sure a good guy!That was odd what happen to him heck he was not that old at all!! |

LOL. No but I have done some hog hunting on his property in Washington County when I was in my 20's. And yes I had permission! I work for a very large black guy named Blue. I had a blast and would have probably worked there for free! So can I asked what happened to Mr Richardson? |

There was a trucker who hauled cattle for Sonny he was a big black man!!He told me that he had to pick up some cattle for the prision in huntsville!!He said while he was there the Blue Bell truck was backed up and was dollying Ice Cream in the prision he said he ask the gaurd you mean to tell me ya'll feed the prisioners Blue Bell the gaued responed with yes he said whats it going to take for me to get locked up I buy off brand Ice cream because it's cheaper!!
I thought it was a funny story!!

Chance, I know news moves slow in the piney woods, but Kenny died Dec 2007. I think the tin can and string is old technology. You really ought to get a tv, or radio, or at least a phone so that you can get your news a little faster.  |

Mr. Martin I do not sell dogs and I do not get rid of anything that I like!!If I like it then it will die here if I don't well it will die here!!! I do give a few dogs away each year but there are very few started dogs!! I cull hard and don't like scattering dogs all over the place!! In the video you sent me what breed of dogs were those working!! They have been known to do that but we never mind takeing the time out of our busy day to tie a hog then finish working cows!! Even though I told Crystal one day we were going to go on a cow hunt and she had something to do and ask how long we would be!! Well when she called at 2pm after we had started a 6am we had done tie oh about 11 hogs!!I asured her after the last one we were going to go find the cows and we did!!But I got in trouble she said if you were going to find cows why did you take the catch dog and vest!!Them some bad cows!!LOL |

CWARD- I understand about the dogs. The dogs in the video are catahoula. I got one here and there through the years. I don't keep but 5 or 6. One of those dogs in the video over heated the other day. she wondered off, layed down and never got up again. I'm still upset at myself for that, I should have made them go get water And rest a few minutes ( rookie mistake ). Another one of those dogs I got from Chris Shivers, And she worked really well, but a man came along and made me an offer I could'nt refuse so i sold her ( another rookie mistake ). Now im kinda in a bind for a good cow dog. I've Got a few freebies to try for a while, if they don't work out i will give them back. Just keep me in mind. Thanks.
