I can remember sitting under a big live oak tree talking to my grandfather, who was a ww2 vet in the navy.2 of my uncles had already been drafted and where in or headed to Nam. He never talked much to us about the war that he was in.But he was sharing some things with me and ask to keep them to my self.He said that he had gave this same talk to my uncles before they left, I was leaving in 2 days for basic training for the Marines. His words of freedom and honor for my country are still in my heart and for the men and woman that have died to defend it.I gave the same talk to my son before he left for the Marines.God be with our troops.
