Both of my parents passed away recently and left behind a mint condition Chevy II car.  This car was their pride and joy.  It is teal blue, automatic transmission, great body condition (always garaged - no rust).  They had the motor rebuilt and I am guessing around 20,000 miles on this motor but I could be off.
We need to get the most we can for this car because we now have a farm to upkeep.  Does anyone know how much we should expect to get for such a vehicle?  I am calling on you old car lovers to help me out.  I don't want to be unreasonable in what we ask for it, but I don't just want to give it away either.  Any help will be appreciated.

Chevy II are very popular but a 4 door sedan, not so much.  Two door cars are where the money is at because of their desireablility.  Also what motor is in it?  Email me some pictures if you have them goodson72@hotmail.com  Also how many miles are on the car total, not just the motor?  I will see what I can come up with.

I am going to assume she looks like a slightly less shiney version of this gem  Grin  And probably has a straight six motor?

Yeah I would really have to see it and crawl around on it but if it is an all original type car with all original interior and paint etc then I would say in the neighborhood of $5-7 is what I would try to get for the car.  If it wa a 2-door you could get around 10K I bet.  Shoot me some pics, we have a lot classic cars in my family and we are always looking another one.

I have a 72 Chevy truck pretty tricked out, my FIL has 48 Olds and a Chevy SSR, my cousin has three late 60's camero's, a 55 Chevy truck, a 34 Ford, a custom 40's model Oldsmobile, and numerous others that he is working on, my uncle is getting an early 70's chevy truck, and my dad will likely end up with a mid 60's chevy truck in the next few years.  We like the oldies  Cool

There is a guy here in my hometown that has a two door in the same color as yours. As far as i know all original and he still drives it every now and then. Im absolutely in love with this car. I would give the guy my 08 chevy truck i have right now and keep my payments, and i would also throw in my left leg for it, and possibly my first born child. I Love old muscle cars. I will have a fit if he ever sells it, I will be looking for any way possible in my means to have that car one day. Good luck in getting what you want for it!
