as i was leavin work today headed to micheals, i posted on face book" headed to tha woods to catch a big nasty" and boy was i right!!!! got to micheals house and he said he were gonna hunt right behind his house, befor we ever got to tha bottom, his boski dog bayed a ruff lil 175 or so boar, got him caught and tied.. (kinda) apparently i need to work on tyin. dogs rolled out and we went furthur thru his place, talked for a while and dogs opened up again way down tha road. he lost signal on tha garmin so we heded to tha house to get his other inntena. as we were goin back, we decided to get that pig, and our 2 young dogs who were with us instead of with tha 3 others both took off and wereactin like they smelled somethin. sure nuff tha pig we had tied was hoppin across tha pasture with just 2 legs tied. somebody needs to learn to tie better, and it aint micheal......  . ne way he says, you wanna get him or u want me to, so of course i said i wud. well i get about 5 steps from him and micheal decides to turn tha light out as tha pig is turnin toward me. and boys im a big dude, but i can move pretty quick if i need to, so i did a ninja move and split, and fell right on my face due to tha big pile of cow crap i slipped in. lmbo, it was pretty funny. anyways got to tha truck and got to tha dogs, they had a big ruff sow in a creek, we guessed 260 or so. she was dang sure big enuff. dogs rolled out and got on what we thought was just a runner. bout 3 hours later we get to em turn hank loose to catch, and we thought he missed. he didnt miss, he got hit and hit good, we ended up havin to shoot tha boar cuz ol hank didnt make it. R.I.P hank, u were a good one. got to tha pig and he had been caught befor, only had one ear and tha biggest teeth i have ever been on. we gueesd him bout 270 or so. he was definatly dog savvy and ruff as a cob. micheal i had a blast, lots of laughs tonight. thanks bro, and sorry bout ol hank.   |

Man sorry to hear about hank sounds like he turnd out to make a dog, well atleat he died in the woods and not on a chain like most bulldogs do.

Paul I'll give you a call some night when we dont have a lot of dogs going, I had a young dog I wanted to get out and so did Cole, plus my grown dogs minus HW. Hate to get too many on the ground at a time, just how I roll I guess. Yeah Cole I it was a good one, just hate it when you try to call the dogs in and they want to stay on the hog instead, good and bad i suppose. I walked into the bay and seen hank laying there, i just turned around and told cole to go get the rifle.  hate for it to come down to that. he was for sure dog smart, ran many miles and wouldnt bay for more than a minute or so. Glad they stuck with him. On another note if anyone has a well mannered pit that will go to a bay let me know, I need one thats catching ASAP. thanks. |

Sorry to hear about Hank, he was a pretty tough dog. Good hogs there though and good job on getting rid of the big nasty.

sorry to hear about your buddys dog. R.I.P I have a few extra hobbles you can use. I'll bring them up there one of these days.  havent had a problem with hogs coming untied with them yet. |
