finally geting to hunt again, hadnt been since last summer . got some pupsgoing good enough to help old dan and picked up another good 2 year old dog .

went with a couple buddies and dan went out about 100 yds and bayed , other dogs started to him and hog broke , bayed again 200 yds and then nothing . never saw or heard him after that , he didnt come back to the truck and didnt come to my coat .

next week went again and bayed a good sow and shot her , dogs rolled out and bayed a sow about 125 was gonna ease up and rope her , she tried to break and dogs caught . coles pup locked down like a bulldog lol . caught a couple shoats the next day and ran into a farmer, said he would show us the honey hole .

took him a horse and he brought a couple yard mutts and we caught 12 in less than 4 hrs . went yesterday , never found a hog and lost my best dog , again  . coles pup came back with som blood on him and never seen or heard bo again . now im left with a pup and a worthless help dog . that makes 4 dogs killed in 3 years and none of them very rough . i'm just real lucky i guess ! Grin

heres some random pics my buddy sent from his phone .

x3 on the trackin system ,  a poor man has poor ways . if them dogs could have they would have trailed my horse up though . i've never lost a dog huntin cattle , i use short range dogs - 10 -15 minute loops 100-200 yds and if they bay you can hear em . if i had a system at least i'd know what happened and get my shock collars back lol .

thats on the list but now i need more dogs for spring cowjobs . seems like it takes a 100 dollars to make fifty since the loggin buisiness went south . :'( :'(
