One dog quick hunt

I went to set a trap Saturday evening a few miles from the house at a dairy that has been getting torn up by hogs. There is a feed mill next to it and a bottom behind the mill where the hogs bed. The mill dumps their moldy and ruined feed out behind the storage silos and it's like a buffet for the hogs within a few hundred yds. of their beds. I got done with the trap right about sundown so since I had my cd Buddy with me I put a garmin collar on him and turned him loose at the edge of the woods. He is pit/dane I think and he'll hunt so when I turned him loose he made a bee line about 200 yd. in the woods and I heard hogs rallying and then the squeal. He had a nice fat sow caught that went about 140-150 range. Sorry, no pics but it was a lot of fun!
