He is just 8 months old and big enough for me already, tipping the scale at 100 pounds! I was hoping he would top out around 85 to 90 pounds but too late for that. His temperament and handle are everything his breeder "doubleb" said it would be so far. He is very trainable and laid back. Possible the most trainable dog I have ever owned. Already handles like a dream! If he dont catch a hog I will probably cry but "doubleb" and other owners of this cross says I dont have a thing to worry about when it comes to catching. I hope they are right! From this:  to this:  Just a little to big for his old puppy pad now a days.   To this:  I had a fit over this picture because I dont like dogs on my furniture. My wife was allowing it when I was away until he chased the weiner dog up on the couch playing and flipped it over. |

I need a catchdog about HALF that size!! Guess I am not going to be able to get that ringneck CD pup from Chance....haven't heard if they are coming down for the next hunt or not.

I was surprised alright!  I had plans to have him neutered but I was going to cross him with HogzgonWild's bulldog before I had it done! She didnt know my plans on that though so I dont hold it against her. I need a catchdog about HALF that size!! Guess I am not going to be able to get that ringneck CD pup from Chance....haven't heard if they are coming down for the next hunt or not.

Thanks for the comments folks! I sure hope he catches like I want.
I have a correction on his weight though. When my wife told me what the vet said he weighed, I said, he is big but he don't look 100 to me. A friend told me the same thing so I weighed him on my scale last night. He only weighs 84 pounds on mine. It's a walmart scale but it's pretty accurate. I think the vet got his weight wrong.
