feb 19 hunt, video and pics *new video*

me and my buddie chase, whos name is co on here, decieded last night that we would go for a hunt this mornin. i took my best dog, nig, my old dog, hemi, and chase brought his lil catch dog miley, and his pup maizy. i had to leave my two gyps at home cause one is in heat and the other still has pups. we went to a new spot i got and hit a group of pigs but the dogs werent working together very good. they were all off bayin on their own pig and we never could get the chance to catch one. so after we got tired of that we loaded up and decided we would go back tomorrow with a lil more dog power. we went down into some bottoms i can hunt and rode the road lookin for tracks and i found a few trails that looked pretty good. we parked and let em loose and we started walkin in there and in about 5 mins i could hear nig jammin then we could her the other two join in. we took off to get close and ended up stoppin on the bank of the river with the dogs on the other side and about 15 or 20 pigs and some piglets, we sat and watched the dogs work for a bit and tried to figure out what we were gunna do cause all the pigs were pretty good size and there was a few that were comin out and tryin to eat the dogs. finally we decided we would just try to get one when it came out after the other dogs. i took miley and chase stayed on the bank to watch the pigs and make sure i didnt have them come down on top of me. i got to the bottom and was about to start goin up and chase said heads up. i was expectin a pig but nig came flyin off down into the river. chase said a pig chased him and he stopped at the edge and the pig chunked him. so he went back up and i went behind him. then chase came and we moved to what we thought was a good position and the pigs started movin away from us but there was one that was hangin behind standin it ground. we let the cd loose and then all pigs took off before she could get there. they ended up goin back across the river about 20 yards and got a decent sow caught. we called it a day after that cause me and chase both had plans for the after noon and we headed back to the truck with one under our belt. i had a blast watchin the dogs work that group, hopefully tomorrow i will get to go back and get some out of both groups.

We've got plenty of pigs that have nitrous tanks here too lol

These pigs are in a bottom that is well known around here for havin some mean pigs. For some reason the pigs in it don't hardly run. They just wanna fight. And there is usually some big ones. The only bad thing is that half of the land we used to hunt has been bought by some guys from out of town and we can't hunt it anymore. So we just got to try and catch them when their on our side of the road now. But it usually works out for us cause our side is a bit thicker with more cedars
