So we were going to get up around 7 and go hunting at a place in brownsborrow. Well needed up getting a 10 o'clock late start. On the way out there stop at a gas station to get something to drink and I bout a powerade and a 2$ scratch of, and needed up wining 50$! Then about 20 minutes after cutting loose we got our first hog and then about 15 minutes later shut down another. None of the dogs got hurt and didn't even break a sweat  can't ask for a better day! |

One of my buddies grandparents has a bunch of land out there and we just hit it up every now and then. Mostly we hunt around frankston, Tyler, j'vile and lindale area.

had a buddy that almost got rooked by a guy from brownsborrow, said that him and his dad owned the gyp for 4 years was a finished strike dog and trained all there pups. the guy guarnteed the gyp would be caught with the catch dogs. she never got out from under foot and when the other dogs struck 4 hogs she never honored the bay got her there and all she would do was look around like what am i suppose to do.so after b.s.n on the phone and a cpl words the fella said bring her back and lets hunt her in the morning c what she does my buddy told him to bring the money and u know he did`nt. drop the dogs and u know it samething dogs blow out but not that gyp right under heels again, fellas excuse guess she has in mind that she is done hunting!!! anyhow just sayen watch who u deal with in that neck of the woods thought i would just give a little heads up.

HMMMMM so Brownsborrow folks are more likely to be dishonest and crooks compared to the rest of the state?  I might be taking your comment out of text here you mind clarifying it for me? Do I live in the wrong area to be considered a honest person? |

not unless u were the fella that tried to sale honest man a dishonest dog, all i was sayen is there is a cpl of fellas out that way that are crooks. from what i have seen u post u seem to be an alright guy looken for honest ppl. ALL i was trien to do is give a heads up to u, now how u take the HEADS UP is UP TO YOU!!!

I defiantly will hit you up man. I think everyone is honest till they prove ME wrong! But you gotta watch out everywhere and some of the most honest people i know live around here. |

swampboy i was`nt pin pointing u are anything, i was posting that just to let everyone know that i have personally had a dealing with a guy there, it was just as mush a head up for u as it was for big ben. glad u had a great day hunting that area nice country there, hope u catch a truck load next time out ur more then welcome to come out my way and hunt ur not to far we hunt around canton alot

Oh man I didn't take it like that in anyway man! I do appreciate the heads up because there are people like that out there! And I hope we do to, we are headed back out right now and gna see if the plotts can pick up anything. Also if we dont look out for each other us hunters are all gna get a bad name and ill be damn if it happens!

I didnt mean to ruffle any feathers, If I did sorry about that. Thanks for the heads up, I guess I did take it out of context because you posted what ya did right after I asked swampboys to hit me up and it seemed to me that the heads up was for him to look out for me. No worries though, Thanks for clarifying that for me. Hell we are all pretty close together we should all hook up one day, go hunting and we can laugh about it Hope yall have the best of luck, the heat is coming soon better get em in the woods as much as yall can. |
