My year old bmc stopped, bayed, and caught an 80 pound sow this morning. That was my first hunt with my own dog. Boy am I hooked now! I would upload photos, but I'm not too computer savy haha. Just letting yall know on here that this sport is freaking awesome!

No one can even begin to understand what hog doggin' is till they've tried to raise, train, and successfully catch hogs for themselves....

Whole 'nother level of "rewarding" if you ask me...

Good job man, keep runnin' with it!!!

That was my first hunt with him. Have seen him hunt before, just not go out on his own. I've had him for 3 weeks. Good side of today is the pig he caught, is in the bay pen now for a chew toy Evil

Congrats, Cool and keep that attitude and you will do fine, its when you catch several and then start getting cocky that will hurt you in the long run

That is awesome! I am totally excited for you because I can still remember that very same feeling that you are describing when our dogs got their first hog. Congadulations and keep it going.  Wink

Thanks guys. If yall hear of anybody having any finished dogs for sale: strike, bay, or catch...let me know. I would rather have a couple finished dogs on hand...it's better to have it and not need it, than it is to need it and not have it.

Congrats!

No matter how many hogs you catch, you'll never forget the first one you catch with your YOUR dogs.
