Lands all swampy and smells like sulfur, mosquitoes can block out the sun, packs of feral immigrants roam the streets playing Norteño music all hours of the night and day, and all the hogs were killed off years ago, only skunks and armadillo remain! Not the type of place you'd wanna visit, let alone move to. . Might as well move on and find somewhere else. Haha, just joking. Jhefern can tell you anything you wanna know.

Just wanted to know general info I guess. It will probably be another two years befre I move up, but we are looking at buying some property pretty soon. There's some tracts of land for sale on c.r. 30 just before holiday lakes. Wanted to know how well its drained over there during really wet times. Also as far as schools and such go, I guess angleton is where the kids go. Just looking for that type of info. Wanted to se how many people from the board live down around there and get their opinions and maybe where some other properties are for sale. Kinda lookin anywhere from brazoria on up to alvin area. My mother lives just orth of alvin in hastings I guess you would call it. Gona be up there sometimes in the next few weeks to look at some places. Thanks in advance. Jheffern I'll probably get with you if you have the time

I would feel right at home in Holiday Lakes. Used to hunt in Chanango and caught lots of hogs there before the land got divided up in the early 1990's. Lots of good places along 521 in that area and you can look between Angleton and West Columbia along hiway 35 or any county roads that take off of 35 or 521.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Nope, sorry, hate to be the bearer of bad news but there are no more hunting spots or hogs that way. If you see us with dogs and atvs in Brazoria co. we're just letting them exercise I hear the Frio river area is a great place to live and raise a family. Just playing. See you around sometime neighbor
