How in the world can a man keep the DC collars from getting the housing from getting beat up,, some of the collars are gettin beat up so bad that we cant charge it cause the grooves are messed up. Do they make anything that protects the housings that a feller can buy or has anyone found anything that you can wrap around it ,, anything..

Cut a section of bicycle inner tube about 3" long, then slip it over the case. Might not be 100%, but it will be better than nothing. Plus it keeps the charging terminals clean.

We had already tried the inner tube,, was thinkin of something that might be able to stop the whole housing from gettin banged up from being hit real hard.. Not only the charging slide but also the button that turns it on,, one got hit last month and almost cut the whole tab out of the turn on spot..

Now that is a good idea! Thanks.

I know a guy who heated up a piece of pvc pipe, slid it over the collar and cut a piece out for the charger.
