I have a few gift cards for academy. I am needing some input as to what is a good game camera for the money.

I heard that they have some that the pics can be seen from the cell phone and/or computer.

any input would be appreciated.

Thx

Go to the moultrie website . They have several models n various price ranges that work with their modem, of course, it costs too. Then, u have to get a monthly package from the WORST cell provider out there,,, ATT,,, so if u dont gett att cellular service where u are gonna put the camera and modem,,, well then , its a big ol, go to plan B,,,

I have a couple stealth cam ir540 . I really like em, they run on 8c or a 12v. I've had real good luck with em and get 3-4 months on a set of the c batteries. Thats taking 60-120 pics a day......

Reuben, I've been hearing great things on the primos truth camera, supposed to have good battery life and priced right. The bushnell trophy cams are good too I've heard. They're are small and take AA batteries which are cheaper than the C and D batteries that other cams run on. I have two moultrie D40's, a cheap bushnell and a wildview. Moultries are great but eat up high dollar D cell batteries too quick. Wildview sucks and the the bushnell isn't bad. I think there is a website called www.chasingame.com that has good reviews on cameras.

Reuben, I don't have any experience with game cameras but I have done plenty of research on them. My research keeps bringing me back to Cuddeback and Moultree  for quality and dependability.

Check this place out Reuben...http://www.huntingadeal.com/ Better be quick though....nobody knows how long each of these sales will last they change items when they get ready...no warning. This is a deal on this camera.

For the money you can't go wrong buying a moultrie. I have six moultrie d-55 ir and 2 cuddeback ir and have taken good pics with both.

I am using the moultrie flash cameras that are about $70 I have 6 of them.  The infared ones just don't flash far enough. I've had pretty good luck with them. Only problem is they go through the batteries pretty quick. They will last a couple weeks or so taking around 400 pics a week right now less in the winter.
