Took the pups out last night to a new spot. walked our butts off and not a bark. We loaded up and decided to go dump out at one of our other spots. We walked in a pretty good piece and had decided to cut across and walk back the road instead of cutting back through the woods. We walked into a cow pasture and one of the dogs opened up. Looked like he was barking at the cattle. then heard another dog. we seriously thought those pups were barking at the cows and we were hollering for them to get out. well thank god they are hard headed cuz then all hell broke loose and we heard hogs! they broke out with the dogs hot on their ass. the pups stopped a decent shoat and caught before the bulldog even got there. Ole Blue was so wound up i thought he was going to breed that shoat. He wasnt very big but as long as they are finding hogs i'm good!  |

I just about started to whine when i seen my Skipper pup bayin at them cows thought I was gonna
have to do me alittle trainin wink wink but i sure was glad to hear the sweet sounds of hogs rumbleing,
over all I'd say we had a pretty good hunt.aside from the other trouble we had.

One thing about it. That group of dogs is getting pretty consistent. And I am especially proud of Bella the freak!! She looks like a black and white bulldog rocket going to that bay! Now if our new boy will get out of our lights and go hunting we will be set!!

I went and got one just for that. Then I bought a new 4 wheeler. Seems like having one more animal to mess with would be a whipping. If you jump off the 4 wheeler and take off running, when you come back the wheeler will still be there. I really like the idea of hunting off my mule though.

Finding hogs is all that matters with puppies!
Nothing like the feeling you get when a puppy finally switches on!
If Ole Blue is ever successful with his extra efforts on shoats make sure you post some pics of the litter!!! lol
