Any professional hog trappers in south texas????

We had a guy down here that had a 2 ton truck with a HIAB crane and had built about 40 hog traps 4x8 size with a keep trapping door and a ring on the end of a chain welded to the top of all the hog traps so he could go run them and load the hogs by himself on the flatbed truck with the crane and unload them by dumping them by opening the back entrance on the 4x8 trap while it was hanging on the hiab crane into a big common hog pen. This guy was running the traps and hauling up to Devine every 2 weeks when the prices were way high way back in the day. He was getting slop from the prison and schools until that became illegal due to mad cow diease and lots of expired bakery items from HEB etc etc and some grain or corn if a farm he was trapping on had some alphatoxined stuff as well. Is there anybody trapping for a living anymore besides the 2 or 3 hogs at a time guys?? I figured the price for hogs was still to low to allow feeding them until one got enuff for a 24 foot trailer load?? I see adds for 30 cents a pound??? 200 pound hog for $60 dont seem to be profitable especially if you have to haul them very far and hire peeps tp seperate the hogs they wont buy and get them out of a coveed gooseneck trailer. Last time i hauled a load in my 24' trailer i bet i lost $500 at least due to diesel, labor (cant workem due to leg bad) and feeding them for almost 30 days at $12 a day, they changed the prices on me while I was bringing them in to the buyer at Gorge West. Do any of the buyers stations help ya sort or come out and look at a big pen of them so u could sort them at the ranch and avoid having to hire somebody to sort out the too small or culls and just make a pass 2 times by the feedstorescale and avoid all of the drama trying to get them off one by one to be weighted at a buying station??? They are advertising for a buying station operator in the Beeville paper here if anybody is interested, was just wondering if there is any money in trapping them any more or is the price still to low>>
