Those are really good pics and I have to admit you have to have to be fast to get good shots going to a bay.  I really like the one in the canal. Hope Goober heals quickly and glad it did not get the tendon.

Thanks all, Goober is healing good....I am giving the hydro therapy a shot this time :/ his legs concerned me due to one of them being so close to the tendon like Spaz's gyp but he is much better plus he is a tough old coot lol.

When I showed my husband the pics he asked when in the heck I had time to take them lol  Grin. Last weekend the ditches and retention ponds were bone dry but the pumps were running and ditches full....we see gators in any form of water lol one crossed the road about a half a mile from where we caught the big hog that as atleast 10 ft and they are HUNGRY!

Warrent, my husband grew up next to Levi and he taught him all that he knows today....he is a good family friend and all of our dogs are either directly from his current dogs or some we have bred but are related to his old dogs.  We do 99% of our hunting in the cane whether its cut or tassled out we do not discriminate.
Figured any serious hog hunters in Hendry county would know 'em. Only hunted with 'em twice. No doubt a sure 'nuff  hogman.  I remember going to his house and counting at least 30 head of dogs on his yard. He used to sell quite a few hogs back then. Hunted with another fella who knew Levi. Everyone called 'em big Bob. Don't know his last name.

Warrent, you must have visited after the indians came by laugh he got into coon hounds a while back plus he has his own line that keeps his wife super busy.  He is a heck of a dog / hog man that I could sit around and listen to all day.  I think I have heard of Big Bobby a few times but cant remember if I have met him.

Jasonmac, thanks for the compliment Smiley All I have done is practice and carry my camera every where lol

The guys went again Saturday and caught another good boar hog in the same ditch, this time little Forrest come home beat up while Nitro and Lucy were reminded that deer were not a good thing to run Undecided
