My dad has been asking me to post the pictures of the hog he took a year or 2 ago. So here they are. He was deer hunting and not seeing much movement in the woods till this big boy stepped out about 250yrds away in the wheat field. He dropped with one shot and decided to stay in his blind for a while and continue to deer hunt. After about an hour he saw the hog get up and run to the wood line. He then waited a little while and went after it. As he got closer he could see the hog laying in the wood line (here is where he got stupid). He got about 10yrds away and the hog charged him hitting him in the thighs and knocking him back about another 10yrds. The hog went to town on his legs and lap. Shredded his boots (took one off completely) ripped through 2 pairs of pants. Amazingly the hog never cut him. Luckily he was hunting with my mom that day and as she ran up to him the hog backed up and took off. After they checked him for cuts they went after the hog. This time my dad shot him 5 times from a distance until it stopped moving. He was able to escape with just bruises and in need of some new boots and pants. It could of been much worse. He was disappointed that it happen since he knows better that to walk up on a wounded hog without putting a bullet in it first. Hog ended up weighing in around 350lbs
