I bought this knife at a garage sale don't have any ideal what kind it is are were it came from.   But I know one thing about five swipes on the steel and this son of a gun is like a Razor and both sides as a matter of fact while trying to take a pic of it had to be very carefull handing the blade end of it cause it will cut you deep and wide and in a hurry .

Any of yall know anything about a knife like this it has a Rosewood handle I believe and is a very heavy knife.  Has some great steel in it .

Looks custom to me but not rosewood or it is atleast not like the rosewood I have.  Looks like cocobolo sp? Or there is another wood that looks like that but can't remember the name of it.  How long is the blade?

7 1/2 inch blade and 13 inches over all . Am guessing 1/8 thick looks like to me.  Boy that is some real steel its got in it cant get over how sharp it got and quick quick.  Yeah I was just guessing on the the rosewood but I have seen that patteren before cant remember what it is.

Whatever it is you can tell it is old especially by looking at the sheath.

It kinda looks like and old arkansas tooth pick.

Real good find you got there...
