Thanks, i'm kind of leaning towards the gas engine, easier to find fuel for, anyone have a diesel utv that could give the pros and cons on their diesel versus the gas models?

Can't comment on jd but my dad has a diesel ranger it is a little slower but has more power than most cars and burns vary little fuel. We have the gas rangers and while they are nice they burn way more gas than my dads diesel. If money was not an issue diesel all the way in the polaris rangers I would think would be about the same in the jd

We've got 3 kubotas and a John Deere at the ranch we use everyday. I prefer the Kubotas but we haven't had much trouble out of the John Deere for what all we've put it through.

Thanks for all the information, i looked at kubota rtv's, they had less suspension travel than the John Deere XUV's.  I've got a pretty good rocky ravine to get down to make it to my creek bed, so i figure i better have all the suspension i can get, maybe I'll pony up for the diesel JD, iI'll keep ya'll posted. Next, I'll be needin dog box for the tail end!
